I currently work as a therapist at Reflective Healing in Fort Collins, CO. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), acquiring hours for full licensure under the supervision of Dori Lewis.
I established my therapeutic foundation through my graduate studies at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I graduated in 2021 with a Masters in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling, a unique program that honors the therapeutic value of both mindfulness practices and non-ordinary states of consciousness. At the core of my training was an emphasis on humanistic psychology, which recognizes that healing hinges on the quality of the therapeutic relationship. My approach is thus client-centered, adapting to each individual’s needs and focused on embodying a state of compassionate, authentic presence to meet all my clients with unconditional positive regard.
I have undergone additional trainings that have equipped me to offer specific modalities to clients who feel drawn to their frameworks. These trainings include:
Internal Family Systems (Level 1)
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy
Trauma-Informed Weightlifting
While MDMA-assisted therapy remains under FDA review for approval, ketamine-assisted therapy is available as an off-label treatment for numerous mental health conditions. I work with several local prescribers to offer ketamine therapy through two routes of administration, intramuscular injection (IM) and oral lozenges and troches. The chosen route with a given client depends on the client’s availability, needs, and financial situation. Each offers a unique plethora of benefits for people from all walks of life.
Regardless of the approach I take with a given client, my focus is on helping people relieve the burdens they carry and draw out their innate capacity to heal. I help my clients connect to what is authentic in themselves, encouraging new ways of exploring life and understanding their mental patterns and habitual behaviors.
My approach is non-pathologizing, for I believe even our most stubborn roadblocks have developed for a reason, and understanding those reasons empowers us to meet our many layers with compassion instead of judgment. Throughout the therapeutic process, I encourage clients to check in with their bodies, for I believe somatic mindfulness deepens our capacity to heal and expands its reaches beyond the limits of traditional talk therapy. I also offer therapeutic journal prompts that I continue to develop based on my training in Internal Family Systems and my own inner work, for writing and creativity have tremendous healing power.
